Personally, I chose HYIPs because they don’t require much time and effort. Well, I do spend a lot more time than I used to since 2010 as I work on The Private HYIP Blog but that’s another story ; I enjoy answering you mails and sharing my experience here.
With that said, you’ve learnt that high yields programs are often unstable and that involving too much could be a mistake, as you are more likely to be a target of a HYIP selective payout scam. So where else can you expect high returns on your money without the risk of getting scammed and where big amounts are allowed ? Like me (and several members of our community already ) , the legal FOREX market could become your target in 2012. But where to start ?
I’m telling you today and I’ll continue to say it over and over again this year : the best way to trade FOREX is to learn how it all works and trade yourselfs. That is to read as much as you can and experience with virtual or demo accounts during at least three months. You should not ignore the learning curve ! Me ? I’m an active observer since late 2009.
There are mainly three FOREX trading technics for you :
- Trade by yourself
- Paying somebody to put trades
- Paying a robot
Even if the FOREX market offers awesome learning opportunities from which you would truly benefit throughout your life, right now, you may prefer to spend your time on other businesses. That’s why a managed FOREX trading accounts or a proven robot like Trend Trimmer exist for you.
Yes, TrendTrimmer already proved its value for a dozen privatehyipblog.com members since November 2010, when I first introduced it. Ultimately and over the years, we should build enough experience and learn the in-dept of FOREX trading techniques to become safe, independent traders. To conclude, while making money online with FOREX will require time and effort, I think it will be worth the investment. It’s actually hard to predict the trends because of the high volatility. Don’t think I believe you can make consistent money from FOREX over-night. There are so much to learn, so many signals and strategies to understand.
Could you point any trader that could be available to join on a forex adventure? More or less like PAMM. Someone expert at it and that could offer their knowledge to earn some $… Thanks!
Hello Frank i trade forex trading about 3 years and all i can say it’s very ok if you have a strategy with good management.
i blow 2 accounts about 200$ because i can’t control my emotion when i place a trade.
But now it’s ok i made good money with forex.
You need to test your skills on a demo account to see how your strategy works and then if you are ready go live and you will see it’s not like demo.
for forex trading first u need patience and don’t be greedy, otherwise forex trading not for them
Interesting article, Frank. I first became interested in trading Forex about 18 months ago. I received an invitation to attend a presentation from KNOWLEDGE TO ACTION. BTW, you can find some videos of their CEO, Greg Secker demonstrating some of his strategies on You Tube.
I was persuaded to attend their 2-day intensive training course which cost me £2k GBP + VAT (valued added tax) in August 2010. It was there that I learned all about charts, “candles”, pivots, income generators, etc. The course was extremely well presented but was very intensive indeed. I had to read the course notes several times and watch the DVDs that came with it before I felt confident enough to make a foray into the world of online trading.
Indeed, it is really only during the past few weeks that I have started trading in earnest. I made a few mistakes early on but have clearly identified what I had done wrong and have now gained enough confidence to enter a fair number of trades most days. I have about £20,000 GBP in my broker account and most days, I generate a profit of at least £300 and on a good day it is up to £1,200.
Make no mistake – there is a great deal to learn and as with HYIPs, you must only risk what you can afford to lose. The one big difference however, is that yo do not get scammed by crooked admins who don’t pay or only pay selectively. Provided you deal through a reputable broker, you can only lose money if you make a bad call and depart from the proven strategies.

Thanks Vect i was also trained by knowledge to action .The guys really motivated me to do forex Iam enjoyed it i was dissappointed by macrotrade I introduced more than 300 people who invested more than $10000 dollars each .I dont know whats happenning in macrotrade but i think they wil come back go their senses ,otherwise God shall punish them if they scam so coldly like this .I had so much faith in them coz they claimed to trade for us .Not even one of my Investors has been paid yet. All my investors joined the 120 days .This fustration led me to learn forex on my own . Hope I wil do well.

I’ve tried Forex with real money after about one year of a demo account. It’s a good way to make money online, but there is a lot to learn.
Plus, Mr. Greed in the forex world is not the only enemy, there is also Lady Fear to fight back. It is necessary to find a good way to manage stress too.
My personal experience as an amateur trader says that, being very cautious and trading part-time 4 days a week can lead to about 8-10% gain every month. I know lots of people make much more money, but I suppose they are way better than me.
I’ve never tried robots.

What about robots like fapturbo? Do they really work or will they just make different mistakes and you wake up to a blown account?
Good question about fapturbo actually, i have been looking into getting into the forex world myself and one of the first things i came across was fapturbo, there are lots of sellers selling various copies of the same fapturbo with their own strategies and settings,
however i would also like to know from someone reputable how good bots like fapturbo really are?
Most of the HYIP’s we all have been investing in state that they are working in the FOREX world, and as most of us know, the HYIP’s blow up. So, they are (a.) either making a huge FOREX investment mistake, or (b.) they are just adding deposits to their HYIP accounts and leaving town, or both.
I had hoped HYIP’s would work, in the FOREX world, so I WOULDN’T need to learn a new technique. I invest in HYIP, the HYIP invests in FOREX. We both profit. Doesn’t seem to have worked that way yet for me.
Prior to HYIP’s I had enough confusion trying to grasp Stock Options.

Forex is not an easy thing to learn. Most people loose money. Statistics say that 90% of traders loose, about 6% are break even and only about 4% are profitable over a period of time. It is not hard to have a profitable trade, it is hard to be in profit constantly. You need a lot of time, lots of studying, trying different things and most of all you need money. Probably you will blow an account or two before you start being profitable. You can demo trade at first but it can not compare to the real thing. My advice is to open a real account, fund it with $100 and start trading. Find the specialized websites, maybe some pro forums and learn from that. There is a lot of info available to you but not everything is going to work for you. You need to find your own way and develop your own system. No successful trader is going to just give you his system.
It is much more complex than just staring at the charts and buying or selling currencies. There are many factors that you have to include in your analysis. Basically there are two approaches to trading. One is technical the other is fundamental. The best thing in my opinion is if you combine the two. You need to know the economic climate of the countries currencies you are trading, overall situation in the market, big events, follow the news…. This is just the fundamental aspect. Technical aspect is more about charting, indicators, patterns, etc. I have been doing this for over 5 years and I know what I am talking about. In my country profits are not taxed (yet) so it is a great thing as FX is my only source of income (besides other smaller investments), and a very good one. It is a great way to make money but you need to really get into it and study,study, study.
The profits can be huge but that is not sustainable. In my first account, when I didnt really know what I am doing I turned $5000 in $35000 in a week! I thought I can always do that but then I lost 30k in one day and went back to research. Now I can say I am doing very good, monthly profits are 10-20% and I also manage some clients who want to see their money work for them. Been doing this with my partner for over a year now, it is a lot of work but it is worth it;-)
Again, if you dont have time for Forex then dont even bother with it, you will just be loosing your nerves and money (probably). If you need more info you can contact me on the forum and I will gladly answer your questions.

Thanks for your honest advise about forex trading. you need to invest in the learning, learning and more learning. It takes an enrnomous amount of time reading and researching. You also need a big account to trade from to turn a reasonable revenue on small movements. I invested ZAR120000 (South African Rands with Knowledge To Action to teach me how to trade. I am be ginning to see the light but it is coming at a huge cost. I have just blown my account of GBP 1700. I trade end of day as I work full time. Trading part-time makes it even harder. Also some of you were wondering about EA (trading robots). Stay away from them, they are not profitable(mostly) and not safe. Every pro trader will tell you the same. If it would be so easy there would be no loosers. There are some profitable robots but believe me they are not for sale. If I had a profitable EA I would never sell it. EAs out there which are for sale will loose money for you. You will pay $100+ for it and loose much more. Everyone can program their own EA for MT4. There are scamers out there who will sell you whatever they can, just like in HYIP business. Another thing is that the market is always changing and EAs are not able to adapt to the changes. Robots in FX can not supplement the human brain.
Maybe there are some Martingale robots that are profitable but you can expect some large drawdowns and in my opinion they are not worth the reward.

hello there some lovely strategies that could generate lots of money in forex…. one of my favorite is confluence and compression. in daily charts, any pair, try to find a very narrow body candle (from open to close or from high to low)some time for two or three days body will be lesser till be just like a cross in your chart, you know for sure price will have to move. just set pending orders with trailling profits and there you go….

Large players, who have access to fastest and most reliable information (Like Bloomberg stations, for example), will always have an advantage, compared to regular traders. It’s not a fair play at all. I was always confused by the amount of flame coming even from serious people that all that Forex hype is a big fat scam.
